Question: Am I qualified?
Answer:
To qualify for the 55 mile AERC National Championship -- as of the ride date (10/16/2010) you AND your horse must each have a minimum of 300 verifiable AERC miles from AERC-sanctioned rides of 50 miles or longer. At least 100 of those miles (2 rides) must have been done with you and your horse together.
To qualify for the 100 mile AERC National Championship -- as of the ride date (10/14/2010) you AND your horse must each have a minimum of 500 verifiable AERC miles from AERC-sanctioned rides of 50 miles or longer INCLUDING one or more 100 mile ride done together.
Horse and rider teams that have completed 1,000 AERC endurance miles (rides 50 miles or more only) are qualified to enter their choice of either the 50 or the 100 mile championship even if they have not previously done a 100 mile ride together.
NOTE: LD miles do NOT count towards qualification criteria in any of the Championship divisions.
You can look up your record and that of your horse at www.aerc.org – click on AERC Records.

Many thanks to those of you who’ve purchased raffle tickets at $25 each or 5 for $100. We’ve sold just over $1100 in tickets to date, but that leaves about 160 tickets left to sell to reach our goal of $5000

Finally! After months of whirlwind planning, and several tons of emails flying back and forth over the winter to finalize the details and schedule, we have the
entry blank and directions and a host of additional information up on the website, our ad appearing in
the latest issue of the AERC magazine, and we have yet to take a breath as we continue to add to and organize our NC sponsors and advertisers, the vetting staff,
and the volunteers. Already we are
hearing from riders who are excited to be coming to this AERC NC. Every second, every ounce of our endeavors will be towards making this the best NC ever!
We have some exciting raffle items that have been donated to support the NC -
a lovely young Rushcreek horse from the famous Rushcreek endurance line of Arabian horses, and a fabulous, unique, totally one-of-a-kind "endurance quilt" that must be
seen to be appreciated! Many, many thanks to those sponsors for their generous, and unique, raffle items.
These raffles are open to the general AERC membership, so click on the links that are on the top of the page to download the raffle information sheet.
Finally, we do want to remind people to please check their ride records to make sure they meet the NC qualifications. You can check the official ride record on the AERC website.
